Documentary

Community TV by James DeLisio

Tracking the daily activities of the staff and highlighting the authentically zany shows that occupy the station's three channels, "Community TV" not only explores the quirky culture of public access, but also its growing importance as a source of self expression and freedom of speech for communities.

Experimental

Smear by Ian Guzman

Based on the short story “Smear” by Brian Evenson, a long-distance space passenger who wakes from hibernation too early, is plagued by a vision and wastes away over many years.

Narrative

Falling Once, Falling Every Time by Matthew Stepanek

“Falling Once, Falling Every Time” explores a relationship strained by substance abuse and the stress of disappointing someone you love. We fall down, we learn to get back up.

Golden Trident: Best Picture

Heimlich by Finn Laubscher

An autofictive horror narrative centered around James, a transgender adolescent haunted by his past. Using appropriated footage from a 2018 unfinished short film starring the same actor as plays James, Heimlich bridges the gap between memory and nightmare.
